Stewards of Children - Child Protection Training for Adult Leaders
STEWARDS OF CHILDREN-Child Protection Training for Adult LeadersThis 2.5 hour training (2.5 CEUs available), led by Authorized Facilitator Pastor Kari Vadis, teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The framework of the training is built off the foundation of the 5 Steps to Protecting Children. We’ll talk about mandatory reporting as well as forming/updating a Child Protection Policy for your organization. The training will take place in three parts, during each of the three workshops Saturday at Quake. You will receive a Stewards of Children workbook which will be used in the training and become your ministry plan. The training and workbook are both covered by this $30 fee.
